Abstract The problem faced in classroom learning was rarely a activity that able to improve creative thinking skills consistently. Therefore, one of the alternatives could be used as tool for improving basic needed this century Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. This study aimed describe effectiveness STEM model students. It quasi-experimental research with Posttest-Only Design Nonequivalent Groups. Based on data analysis, there an effect education students’ skills. results obtained from creativity varies between low moderate answers tests given show lower than expected. can recommended alternative approach biology, especially abilities. Creative is important everyone, because proof truth formulation assessment encouraged by way thinking.
